The number of teams now playing for the Nuclear cup has risen to 11, which means the simple round robin system had to be altered. Soon there will be a link to the new draw, which should be self explanatory but put simply the teams who finished in the top 6 positions will be in Pool A and the bottom 3 teams with the 2 new teams will be in a separate Pool B. Each team will play the other teams within there Pool once, then will be ranked to go on to the Final series. The final series includes all 6 teams from Pool A and the top 2 teams of Pool B, with the following match ups:
Round one:
> Top 4 of Pool A has the week off.
> Elimination 1: Pool A 5th plays Pool B 2nd
> Elimination 2: Pool A 6th plays Pool B 1st
Round two:
> Top 2 of Pool A has the week off.
> Quarter final 1: Pool A 3rd plays winner of Elimination 2
> Quarter final 2: Pool A 4th plays winner of Elimination 1
Round three:
> Semi final 1: Pool A 1st plays winner of Quarter final 2
> Semi final 1: Pool A 2nd plays winner of Quarter final 1
Round four:
> Grand Final: Winners of semi finals 1 and 2 play each other for the Nuclear Cup!
At each stage the losing team will play the other losing team for final overall ranking, with will be used for the next Nuclear Cup draw. For example, Elimination round 1: If Pool B 2nd team wins over Pool A 5th team, the Pool A 5th team will have to play for either 7th or 8th place overall. Pool B 2nd team could either go all the way to the finals or if they lose in the quarter finals they will finish either 5th or 6th. Either way they will have an advantage for next season being in Pool A.
