Nuclear Cup Season 3 Underway!
Today we saw the first round of the Nuclear Cup Season 3. A tremendous way to start the season. Clearly there were some scores to settle today. Nuclear Cup season 2 champions, BRAP2, were taken out by the Loraxes, and More Fire! clearly enjoyed their victory against Bluthenthal da 3. Mababies got off to a great start to the season; already getting a point, equalling their total for Season 2! Gaeta clearly wants to take the next step this season: to make their way into the finals for the first time, and they got off to a great start, dominating darknesss12.

BRAP2 Wings cliped!
An aging BRAP2 and bad luck has diminished BRAP2s winger ratings below an acceptable level. Two of the four wingers BRAP2 routinely use are on the injured list, with the remaining two in poor form. This has forced the club to purchase a winger, earlier than planned until BRAP2s wings are once again ready for full flight. The purchase though rushed was not a bad one with Timo Weitzel, a youthful 25 year old with a knack for heading in goals signed up. He is a good all rounder that is a step up for the aging club.

Sugar Kick announces plans to replace most of existing team with youth squad!
In a press conference earlier today Sugarkick management defended their continuing youth promotion plans, which seem to have upset many fans. With a rapidly aging squad, management is insisting it is past time to revitalise the team with young blood. Furthermore, in all honesty, management admit they currently have more faith in the performance of the youth team “Saccharin” anyway. While there is expected to be some short term losses while the new players are adapting to the big time, management are asking fans to remain faithful as the changes have the teams best long term interests in mind.

Tough Units' season: review

A fascinating season for the Units has pretty much come to an end- only a play-off against a bot team next Sunday remains. The season saw The Units surviving a tough division, where all but one team were stronger on paper, as well as making the Nuclear Cup final for the 2nd consecutive year fielding exclusively back-up players. This effort was enough to keep the fans happy and for the management to declare the season a success.
According to Alltid, the 2 teams promoting to The Units' league for next season are just as strong (no bots!), ensuring next season will be even more challenging and exciting. Surely V.74 will be among the most closely contested leagues in all of Hattrick!
The Units would like to congratulate BRAP2 on a superb 3rd place finish, Bluthenthal who finished 2nd in a tough league, and more fire! for surviving div. 5 on the first attempt. Also Gaeta FC for finishing 2nd- perhaps one better next season?
Bad luck to Green Loraxes, however a season in div 6 will set them in good stead for another crack at division 5. Who knows, it may be The Units suffering the same fate next season!
An Outstanding 3rd in Division V obtained for BRAP2

An amazing season for BRAP2 ends with a move from a respectable 4th to an outstanding 3rd. In their 1st season BRAP2 has amazed both their supporters as well as the rest of V.132 league. Strategy as well as luck was involved in the great 1st season in division V, but BRAP2 knows hard work is needed to stay in the top three of their league. BRAP2's management would also like to congratulate The Units in finishing 6th and therefore avoiding relegation, as well as sending condolences to the Green Loraxes to a very unlucky season all round. Congratulations to More Fire! in staying in division V and finishing a respectable 5th and good luck to all the VI division teams, hoping to move up to division V for next season.

New and Improved

Having invested over $1.6M in upgrading their stadium, Gaeta FC would like to announce the latest refurbishment of their home stadium, The Dome. This improvement will address recent problems with regards to sell-out crowds and will thusly encourage attendance of league games by a much larger audience. This latest upgrade will increase the stadiums capacity to 20,000. With a greedy smile on his face a prominent executive for Gaeta FC was reported as saying "this upgrade will increase earnings for the club and ensure that all executives receive a Ferrari as part of their salary package".

BRAP2 CROWNED NUCLEAR CUP CHAMPIONS

BRAP2 have been crowned Nuclear Cup champions of the second season of the Nuclear Cup with an impressive 5-1 win over The Units, the reigning champions. Despite not being favorites at the start of the season - BRAP2 have proven all their critics wrong and dominated the second season of the Nuclear Cup, winning both the minor and major premierships. The BRAP2 manager, after the win, loudly and cryptically proclaimed to the world, "For all those who thought we couldn't do it - well - Fuck You, I'm Anteater!!!" Exactly what this means will no doubt be debated for centuries to come.

The mighty BRAP2 has used it finances to purchase 3 new players to help them out for the end of the season and beyond. The sale of Nicolas Chambonnet, former star goalie gave rise to the need to purchase a new trainee. Danny Bundy from the USA is a future hot prospect already being an inadequate defender and having inadequate set pieces on top of passable keeping. To strengthen the defensive line Archie Warendorf is a player to be reckoned with, being a 4.5 star defending in passable form he also has a great head on his shoulders to be effective when corners arise. Last but not least a surprise purchase was midfielder Miguel Ángel Pinza who will strengthen the middle for the BRAP2 organisation.
